Learn about who engages with your brand with exclusive audience insights

Want to customize your business marketing strategy? Let's start by understanding who is visiting your website. With LinkedIn Insight Tags, you can see powerful demographic insights about your website visitors - such as job title, company, industry, and more.

How to use LinkedIn Insight Tags

Open your Campaign Manager and click on Insight Tags, after which you can do it in two ways:

  1. Install the Tag yourself - Do it yourself: Paste the Insight Tag code from Campaign Manager in the global footer of your website. Make sure you have installed the code above the closing code < body > (without spaces). Adding the tag to the footer will allow you to track visitors to your site.
  2. Install with tag manager - Tag manager helps you manage and edit all your tags without editing the code. LinkedIn Insight Tags can be installed with many tag managers, including Google, Tealium, and Adobe.

Make sure that the tags you created are working properly, you can check the status of your campaign in Campaign Manager, under Account Assets → Insight Tags. Once the Insight Tag is installed on your website and LinkedIn members visit, your domain will appear as "Active." Tag activation can take up to 24 hours, depending on your website traffic.
